Surron Light Bee Rear Moto Brake Kit — Ultra Bee brakes for the Light Bee

Want Ultra Bee stopping power on a Surron Light Bee X or Eride Pro? This rear moto brake kit puts a moto-spec Ultra Bee caliper and oversized rotor on your Light Bee, so the lever stays firm and the brake doesn't fade when you ride hard — balance point, trails or street.

What's included

  • Single moto caliper bracket — billet aluminum, black anodized
  • Surron Ultra Bee brake assembly: moto master cylinder, brake line, rear brake caliper
  • 240mm × 3.3mm stainless steel brake rotor

Fits: Surron Light Bee X (LBX), Eride Pro S & SS, Ventus One, 79Bike Falcon

Why it works

  • Moto-spec Ultra Bee rear caliper for instant bite and consistent feel — no spongy lever or fade
  • 240mm rotor adds surface area and sheds heat for smooth, predictable braking and easier balance-point control
  • Stainless coated rotor; aerospace 6061-T6 bracket; OEM Surron Ultra Bee assembly for an easy install

Install (summary)

  1. Remove rear axle, wheel and stock caliper bracket.
  2. Move the Ultra Bee caliper (with its rubber boot and pin) onto the moto caliper bracket.
  3. Install the rotor on the wheel; slide caliper + bracket over the rotor; reinstall the wheel and torque the axle.
  4. Run the brake line through the frame (pull the caliper-side banjo if needed for easier bleeding).
  5. Bolt the master cylinder to the bars and torque everything to spec.
  6. Bed the pads in slowly for at least 1 hour before hard/hot use — this is crucial.

FAQ

Does it fit the Surron Light Bee X? Yes — built for the Light Bee X (LBX) and Eride Pro S/SS.

Can I add a foot brake later? Not with this single-caliper kit — it carries one caliper. Use our dual-caliper kit to run a foot brake alongside the hand brake.

What rotor size? Made for our 240mm rotor. A 220mm rotor works only briefly if you must — and you must replace the pads when moving to 240mm so they bed correctly.
